How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication – Help Center

Setup YouMail's 2FA

Two-factor authentication helps protect you by making it more difficult for someone else to sign into your YouMail account. It uses two different forms of identity: your email and phone number. For others to access your account, they would need your password and access to your second factor of authentication.

To use 2FA, you will need to enable it on the YouMail website. This guide will show you how.

Navigate to the feature by selecting your name in the top-right corner, then select Security, scroll down to 'Manage Two-Factor Authentication' and enter your account password.
To enable the setting, please select 'Add a Verification Method'. Both the number and email of your account are eligible.
A six-digit code is sent to your verification method. After verifying, the two-factor authentication setting can be enabled.
All subsequent logins will require a six-digit code before allowing access to your account.
