Recently, your callers have not been able to leave a message with YouMail or your Sprint voicemail. They're hearing something about a missing OCN. This is because Sprint is not sending YouMail your phone number identification along with the forwarded call so our system isn't able to know which Inbox your calls should be deposited into. This generates an OCN or Original Call Number error. YouMail uses general deposit numbers for users on our free plan. This means that multiple people forward to the same deposit number and our system identifies the number the call was intended for and send your messages to your unique inbox.
To resolve this, you'll need to change your deposit number and reset your call forwarding. You can reactivate your Sprint phone's call forwarding to YouMail by dialing the following call forwarding codes. Dial the codes individually as if you're placing an outbound call:
If activation codes above didn't work, please try these:
If none of the activation codes fixed the OCN issue with your Sprint phone, you can upgrade to a paid plan to receive a dedicated deposit number. Only you will be forwarding to this number which will avoid the OCN issue. Follow this link to get a Premium Access Number: My Phones
