How to Block a Number from the Web – Help Center

The steps to block a contact and/or additional nuisance calls are outlined below. You have the option of routing them to the Spam folder to leave a message or simply sending them to the disconnected tones.

Blocking options depend on your plan type. You can review your choices here.

To block someone in your contacts

First, visit the Contacts page
Find the contact you want to block
Click the 3 dots at the top right and select Block

If the caller is a non-contact and left a message/hung up after connecting to your VM

Visit your History page
Locate the number you wish to block
Click the 3 dots on the top right and select Block

If the caller is a non-contact, spam call

Visit http://Directory.youmail.com
Look up the number in question
Write a report listing why the number is spam. Be sure to check the box Report as Spam
Then tap on Submit
