Private Number Handling
Are you tired of those pesky Unknown/Private numbers? YouMail's Maximum Protection allows users to block private callers or request them to show their phone number before leaving a voicemail.
Navigate to Settings
- Tap on the shield icon located at the bottom of your screen.
- Then select the three (3) dots in the upper right hand corner.

- Select protection settings

Go to Private Numbers
- Select "Automatically Block These Callers" and then ensure that "Block Private Numbers" is enabled.

Private Number Handling
- Enable Block Private Numbers to prevent these callers from ringing your device. (By default, these calls are blocked from reaching you. We require them remove the Caller ID block entirely before calling you)
- To request these private callers to leave their phone number if you don't want them immediately blocked: select on the highlighted "Private Number Blocking" and tap on "Request to Input Number".
