Straight to Voicemail
YouMail answers phone calls by setting up Conditional Call Forwarding with your carrier. Conditional Call Forwarding allows only unanswered, busy, and missed calls to forward to your YouMail Inbox. However, all calls may be sent to voicemail when Unconditional / Immediate Call Forwarding is accidentally enabled. If so, you will need to deactivate call forwarding. And re-enable it through your app (iPhone or Android).
You should also verify you don't have your call filter set to contacts only. For Android, check and see if "Do Not Disturb" is set up, and for iPhone, check to see if "Silence Unknown Callers" is toggled on in the phone settings.
If you are still experiencing issues with calls not ringing after trying the things listed above, there maybe be network settings/issues on your carrier's side that are preventing your calls from ringing your phone. Please contact your carrier and ask them to look into why your calls are not ringing your phone before going to voicemail.
