How to Update Your Number on Your Android Device

Update your Number on the Android App

If you've changed your number recently, are experiencing issues with getting your voicemails, and you have yet to update your number on your YouMail you will need to update this info and reactivate your carier's Conditional Call Forwarding.

Updating your number via the app is simple and easy. In order to edit your number and activate follow the instructions below : 

Navigate to Phone Numbers

Select the menu icon (☰) in the upper left corner Select Settings  Select the Phone Numbers

Select the number you wish to edit

The numbers on your account should be visible from the Phone Numbers page. You can tap on the number that needs to be edited or removed.

Edit the number

Select the Advanced option at the bottom to edit or remove the selected number.
You should be redirected to the website where you will select either Edit or Remove. Edit the information as needed.

If you're adding a new number, remove the existing number on the account and then select the + Add option.
Once the number has been successfully added/edited, select the downward arrow beside Edit.  Select the option Forward to YouMail and follow the steps in the prompt provided.

Once you've completed the steps above, your new number should be updated and activated or an old number should be removed from the account.
