This app when working is great; however it just stopped working and the answers to FAQs are not helpful. All of a sudden all of my calls are going directly into YouMail - my phone is not ringing at all and the explanation is vague at best. Please get it together!!!!!!!!

I'm having the same problem. Missing important calls
This just recently happened. Do you support Xfinity? I am a paying customer and need to have access to all my calls.

    YouMail Support

    Hi Dori S,

Thank you for your message! We do support Xfinity. Because I do not have your account information, it is difficult to see what the issue is, but most commonly this is caused because of duplicated contacts (see information below) or you have set up the wrong call forwarding. To resolve your issue, please call us (You will find the YouMail Support number within your YouMail contacts) or send us an email to support@youmail.com

If you want to see if the issue is the result of duplicated contacts, you can go to the contacts being blocked via this page, then look for a light yellow triangle next to the number, which indicates a duplicate contact. By clicking the triangle, you will be linked to the additional contact with the same phone number. Delete one of these contacts and the calls should no longer be sent straight to voicemail.

If you are still having issues, please be sure to reach out to us! We are happy to help!

I’m having same issue of no ringing on phone and calls going directly to You Mail. I miss calls and especially those where a service person is calling me before arrival. Can’t you come up with a filter for me to say, “do not block my contact numbers”, and allow at least a few rings on verified business numbers like Frontier/Verizon, etc?

Also if the filter could have an “switch” You Mail off temporarily if you can’t make You Mail recognize verified businesses or allow to ring a few time. I do appreciate You Mail capturing the real scam/spam calls. I just don’t like losing calls from friends and family or scheduled business calls. Most will not leave a message when they heard a third party voicemail message.

Until these issues of missed calls are addressed and fixed, I won’t plan on upgrading to a paid service. It would be a wait of my funds

    YouMail Support (Edited )

    Hello Debbie Alexander!

Thank you for your message and sorry for the delay! It sounds as if you may have the wrong call forwarding enabled. We also do have a feature that allows all contacts to connect to you, and blocks all non contacts! It is our "Contacts Only" call filter, which you can find here. And you can always switch the call filter completely off from this same settings page! We can absolutely get your issues resolved for you, but I was unable to find your account information. Please email us at support@youmail.com so that we can further assist you with fixing your account. We would also be happy to provide you with a discount on any plan you are interested in when you do feel like upgrading. Please just reference this support page!

    Thanks!
