Canadian subscribers can activate with YouMail! Please make sure that you meet the following criteria:
- Have a 10 digit phone number
- Your calling plan/carrier has the conditional call forwarding feature (allows the phone to ring before going to voicemail)
- Some Canadian Carriers require that you cancel your voice mail add on with them before being able to use the conditional call forwarding feature.
ROGERS AT&T
First, you have to cancel your Rogers Call Answer (and "One Number" or Rogers Voicemail) or the system will not let you setup new forwarding numbers. Here are the commands:
*21*[Deposit Number] - Unconditional Forwarding (your phone won't ring)
*61*[Deposit Number] - forward on no answer
*62*[Deposit Number] - forward on unreachable (system cannot locate your phone)\
*67*[Deposit Number] - If busy
The commands are used like this:
To Activate - *[code]*thenumber#
To clear - ##[code]#
Status - *#[code]#
temporarily deactivate - #[code]#
reactivate - *[code]#
Freedom Mobile
Freedom Mobile supports conditional call forwarding.
The codes are:
*61*[Deposit Number] is for "not answered"
*67*[Deposit Number] is for "busy"
*62*[Deposit Number] is for "out of reach"
*004*[Deposit Number] is for all 'conditional call' i.e 61, 62 and 67 combined.
*21*[Deposit Number] is "all calls".
The above codes do not work for Android phones on Freedom. On Android Phones you must go to call settings through the menu.
