Activating Call Forwarding With Rogers & Freedom Mobile in Canada

These Canadian subscribers can activate with YouMail! Please make sure that you meet the following criteria:

• Have a 10 digit phone number
• Have a calling plan that has the conditional call forwarding feature (allows the phone to ring before going to voicemail)
• Some Canadian carriers require that you cancel your voice mail add on with them before using the conditional call forwarding feature.
  • For Rogers mobile, *91 and *93 remove voicemail.

Rogers

First, be sure to cancel your Rogers Call Answer (and "One Number" or Rogers Voicemail) or the system will not let you setup new forwarding numbers.

Here are the commands for activation--make sure you have your YouMail deposit number handy: 

*91 and *93 - remove Roger's Voicemail
*61*[Deposit Number]# - forward if no answer 
*62*[Deposit Number]# - forward if unreachable (system cannot locate your phone)
*67*[Deposit Number]# - forward if busy 

Freedom Mobile 

Freedom Mobile supports conditional call forwarding. 

Here are the commands for activation--make sure you have your YouMail deposit number handy: 

*61*[Deposit Number]# - forward if no answer 
*62*[Deposit Number]# - forward if unreachable (system cannot locate your phone)
*67*[Deposit Number]# - forward if busy 
*004*[Deposit Number]# -all conditional calls (i.e 61, 62 and 67 combined)
