Canadian subscribers can activate with YouMail! Please make sure that you meet the following criteria:
- Have a 10 digit phone number
- Your calling plan/carrier has the conditional call forwarding feature (allows the phone to ring before going to voicemail)
- Some Canadian Carriers require that you cancel your voice mail add on with them before being able to use the conditional call forwarding feature.
If you meet the criteria, please try creating a YouMail account and connecting. If you are having any trouble, feel free to submit a ticket to our support team.
First, you have to cancel your Rogers Call Answer (and "One Number" or Rogers Voicemail) or the system will not let you setup new forwarding numbers. Here are the commands:
*21*[Deposit Number] - Unconditional Forwarding (your phone won't ring)
*61*[Deposit Number] - forward on no answer
*62*[Deposit Number] - forward on unreachable (system cannot locate your phone)\
*67*[Deposit Number] - If busy
The commands are used like this:
To Activate - *[code]*thenumber#
To clear - ##[code]#
Status - *#[code]#
temporarily deactivate - #[code]#
reactivate - *[code]#
WindMobile supports conditional call forwarding.
The codes are:
*61*[Deposit Number] is for "not answered"
*67*[Deposit Number] is for "busy"
*62*[Deposit Number] is for "out of reach"
*004*[Deposit Number] is for all 'conditional call' i.e 61, 62 and 67 combined.
*21*[Deposit Number] is "all calls".
The above codes do not work for Android phones on Wind. On Android Phones you must go to call settings through the menu.
