Delayed Push Notifications
Your Android phone relies on a data connection to pick up new messages and then notify you of them. If you do not have a strong network connection, your notifications will be delayed as a result.
This problem can occur if your phone is set to disallow background activity. Once it does, it will immediately try to ping the cloud, download your messages, and notify you of them – which can sometimes come in much later than when you actually received the new message.

Forward Calls to YouMail

You should now experience fewer delays in your message notifications. Additionally, you can also extend your phone’s battery life by keeping wifi on. Your phone will not have to work as hard to download new messages when it is idle and a wifi connection is available. If you know that you will not have access to wifi, you can easily turn it off.
