YouMail utilizes your carrier's Conditional Call Forwarding feature to receive your unanswered calls and record your messages. When your phone's conditional call forwarding is activated, it will ring normally allowing you to answer your calls. If your phone is triggered as busy, unanswered, or unreachable, your carrier will forward the call to the number you have set up for those options (in this case, your YouMail deposit number).
Using Conditional Call Forwarding allows you the option to answer your calls before sending them to YouMail, as opposed to Standard Call Forwarding that would automatically send any call to voicemail.
If YouMail is no longer picking up your calls, your call forwarding may have been disconnected. If your test call is failing and your call forwarding is not working, please try our interactive help guide to activate YouMail!
If you are still having problems, please submit a ticket to our support team.

my new iphone does not work with youmail ?
@mack Your new iphone should be able to work.
I would say that my youmail greeting is only heard one out of 3 times. The other two times, my phone rings and rings and people cannot leave a message. Additionally, the number won't even show up as a missed call. Today someone told me that a message asked for an ECN number.
@ryan Here is an article about the OCN issue I believe you are referring to https://support.youmail.com/hc/en-us/articles/200477588-My-Callers-Receive-an-Error-Message-when-They-Try-to-Leave-a-Message.
Also expect an email from YouMail support to further discuss your issue.

My youmail isn't working on my Galaxy Note 4. I've tried everything and haven't been able to use it for 3 months. I tried emailing back when I got someone asking for feedback and it said send fail for some reason. It keeps popping up youmail has quit working and gives me the option to report it. I've been reporting it multiple times every day and nothing :( your help would be appreciated.
@Ariel I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing that issue. Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling the app?
I have straight talk and I tried going to the interactive troubleshooting above but it didn't go past the first step.

I just got a brand new Galaxy S5 after having my other on crash. YouMail worked perfectly on my old one but when I try to activate on new one I can't get past the first step.
@SJ Lawburgh Are you receiving any error messages when performing this through the app? If not, you can get activated by following these instructions: http://ow.ly/NWzZR
I am not getting my call forwarding on my galaxy note 5
@Vivandrajack What carrier are you under? If your carrier doesn't offer call forwarding, YouMail won't work with that carrier. We recommend asking them if they can allow that feature on your phone.
I have metropcs and I had youmail al most 3 years now and it just stop working I have the bundle package still nothing
@Vivandrajack The next step is activating call forwarding. Follow the instructions on this link: http://ow.ly/OzHYQ
