Unrecognized charges
We make apps (YouMail, HulloMail, and Another Number) that protect you from spam calls and make your voicemail smarter. If you have signed up for one of these apps at any time in the past, then you can use the password reset option to regain access to your account.
If you have not used any of our apps in the past, then it's possible your credit card information has been compromised and used without your knowledge to sign up for one of our services. In cases like these, we will need the transaction details for the charge to help us locate the account. Please note, we can only locate charges that have been completely processed by your bank. Pending or failed charges will not appear in our billing system, so these charges should be escalated to your bank.
Please email the following transaction details to billing@youmail.com so that we can look into this for you.
- Type of account charged (e.g. VISA, MasterCard, Amex)
- Last 4 digits of the credit card that was charged
- Date of charge
- Dollar amount of the charge
- Cardholder's name
Reasons for payment failure
Payment failures are a result of decline errors we receive from your credit card's issuing bank when running your bill. When possible, we will let you know what error we are seeing on our end (e.g. Insufficient Funds, Address mismatch, etc.) but, ultimately, it is your issuing bank that can tell you why the charges are being declined.
Once you have resolved the issue with your card or if you want to use a different one, you can update your payment method here.
