Call Forwarding with MagicJack

MagicJack does not have conditional call forwarding, but there are two ways to get YouMail to work with MagicJack.

You can use YouMail Drop Box:

Log into your MagicJack account at my.magicjack.com
Click on "Account e-mail"
Add [YouMailPhoneNumber]@my.youmail.com as an additional e-mail address, and select voicemail
For Example: If the phone number connected to your YouMail account is 8005551212, you will enter 8005551212@my.youmail.com

You can also have the magicJack either forward to your cell phone or forward directly to YouMail (depending on whether you want magicJack calls to go straight to voicemail) instead. To do so:

Login to your YouMail account (youmail.com > Sign In) and add your magicJack number as a YouMail line here (you must have a paid account to enter more than one number on your account)
Log into your MagicJack account at my.magicjack.com
Click on "Call Forwarding"
Enter your YouMail Deposit number or cell phone depending on

Notes:

If you want to forward your MagicJack calls to your cell phone that is connected to YouMail, please note that YouMail will not take voicemails from a number not assigned to your account. You must add the MagicJack number to your YouMail as well, which requires a paid plan.
Test your connection to YouMail by calling your magicJack and leaving a voicemail. Sometimes, magicJack does not make the change, even if it displays correctly on your screen. In such a case, you need to contact their customer support at http://www.magicjack.com/techchat. They should be able to do a reset that gets YouMail working within minutes.
