Is the Smart Greeting not saying your name?
If our Smart Greeting is not giving your name to callers, it could be due to two things:
1. The Smart Greeting setting may not be configured properly
2. A recording of your name may not be currently available
Follow the instructions below to ensure that the setting is configured properly.

If you've confirmed that the setting is indeed configured correctly, then it would mean that the latter of the two reasons is the issue. In a case like this, the tips below can assist you in having this resolved:
Make sure that you have entered your first name in your account settings.
YouMail will not give callers your name if nothing is entered in the first name field.
Remove any special characters or spaces from each part of your first name.
Ex: Write “Mary-Ann” or “Mary Ann” as “MaryAnn”
You may request a recording of your name if neither of these work.
To submit a request, please follow this link.
YouMail maintains a database of thousands of common names to plug into our Smart Greetings, but it is naturally not all-inclusive. If you have a rare name or a name with an uncommon pronunciation, you will have to request a special recording from our voice talent. If you are currently on a Professional Plan you can submit a recording request as it's already a part of your plan.
