If you ever need to make sure that your voicemails are correctly being forwarded to your YouMail inbox, all you need to do is perform a test call to verify your activation.
- Open the YouMail app and tap the Menu (☰) icon in the top left corner of the screen
- Tap More
- Tap Verify YouMail is Working
- Tap Test Now
- YouMail will attempt to call you (make sure to decline the call)
You should receive a voicemail in your YouMail inbox congratulating you that your YouMail is working. Your voicemail is correctly being forwarded to YouMail!
If you do not receive a YouMail Test Call message in your YouMail inbox, you should receive a notification in your phone's notification bar within 5 minutes saying YouMail Test Call Failed. This means that your voicemails are not being forwarded to YouMail. Please visit this article to resolve the issue.
