Have issues with notifications for the YouMail App?
In order to receive push notifications on your iPhone, you must enable push alerts on your YouMail account online and in your iOS settings. Please follow the instructions below to enable push notifications.
Notes:
- Along with enabling push alerts, your device MUST be either connected to WiFi or cellular data in order for the phone to push a notification to you.
- Power/Data saving modes will affect how/when notifications are displayed. If you use these settings, it is imperative you change the notification settings in these modes as well.

Enabling Push Alerts on your YouMail account
- Sign into your account: YouMail.com
- Click on Settings on the left-hand menu

- Once the menu opens up, select Voicemail to Text
|
|
- Look for the setting titled Push Alerts and click Configure Push Alerts
|
|
- Once you are in the configuration settings, make the necessary changes to your liking
- Additionally, for best results, please ensure that you set the frequency
|

Enabling Push Alerts on Your iPhone
- Open the YouMail App
- Tap the gear icon on the bottom right to open the menu
|
|
- Scroll down and under notifications, select Push Alerts
|
|
- Ensure that the toggle for Push Alerts is turned on
- You can also adjust the settings
|
|
- To adjust the view of the push notifications, open the iPhone's Settings
- Scroll down until you find YouMail in your list of installed apps
- Tap Notifications and adjust according to your preferences
