Prevent Calls from Private Numbers

Privacy Guard is a feature that forces private number callers to enter their phone number in order to be reach your voicemail or be immediately disconnected. This can help prevent spam and robocallers from contacting you.

Notes:

For iOS subscribers: Apple only allows us to block callers with a phone number. If a caller is contacting you without a caller ID or with a private caller ID, the calls will still ring unless you enable "Silence Unknown Callers" in your iOS settings.

To enable Privacy Guard, just follow these steps:

Activate Privacy Guard

Log into your account on the YouMail website and go to the Spam Protection tab. Select Settings.
Click Edit.
Check the box next to Private Numbers. Then select Private number settings.
Select how you would like private numbers to be handled. Select Save.

You have now successfully activated YouMail Privacy Guard!
