The YouMail Auto-Reply feature will text your callers a custom message on your behalf when you aren't available. The features of the Auto-Reply are reserved for YouMail Professional subscribers.
If you would like to use the advanced settings for YouMail Auto-Reply, callers will receive a link to your digital business card that has the option for callers to email you, visit your website or even view all of your social media pages for your business. To use your auto-reply feature you will need to enable it on the YouMail website. This guide will show you how.
To Enable Auto-Reply
- Log into your account on the YouMail website
- Open Settings and select Auto-Reply
- Click on Configure Auto-Reply and select the toggle on the top right to turn it on and configure your settings.
Your Auto-Reply is now on! To customize and edit how the reply is sent, select Configure Text Message, Configure Web Page, and Configure Receive Settings.
Note: If you include a custom message and no other boxes are checked, it will allow up to 160 characters. Should you check the boxes to configure the text message, you will see the count go down. You will have to have the Include link to a customer auto-reply webpage box checked for them to be able to read the whole initial message.
To Disable Auto-Reply
- Click on Configure Auto-Reply and select the toggle on the top right to turn it off
