XFinity customers can connect to YouMail by following these instructions:
To set up YouMail with your XFinity Voice service:
- Sign in to www.comcast.net using your primary XFINITY username and password.
- Select Voice & Text.
- Select Preferences from the main menu, then select Voice.
- From the list of Voice settings, click on Advanced Call Forwarding.
- From the Advanced Call Forwarding drop-down menu, click Add. Then enter the YouMail deposit number - 712-432-9310 .
- Click Save.
A test call can be placed here to confirm the activation:

This rings my home phone and the youmail # @ the sametime. Not very helpful if you want to answer the phone :-)
Any other ideas?
@Chadjaugustine Your calls should go through your home phone first, then forwarded to YouMail after the call is recognized as busy, unanswered, or missed. This is called the "Conditional Call Forwarding" feature. To fix it, please contact your carrier, and ask them to only set up "conditional call forwarding" to your YouMail Personal Access Number. This will allow your phone to ring and YouMail to answer as your voicemail.
