Verifying activation confirms that YouMail is set up correctly. This means that your missed calls are going to YouMail instead of your carrier voicemail.
When you verify activation, you will receive a test call from YouMail. It is important that you decline the test call so that we can make sure your voicemail is a YouMail greeting and not the standard voicemail greeting that comes with your phone. After it is confirmed that your missed calls are being handled by YouMail, you will receive a voicemail from YouMail in your inbox notifying you that your activation has been successfully verified!
