*Premium Feature* With one of our paid subscriptions, you can manage all your voicemails in one place by letting YouMail manage voicemails for 2-15 other lines, depending on the plan you choose.
To add a landline to your YouMail account:
- Login to your myYouMail page (youmail.com > Sign In)
- Click Phones
- Click + Add Number > Phone
- Fill out the NICKNAME and PHONE NUMBER fields
- For PHONE MODEL select Other
- If we're able to detect your number's carrier automatically, follow the onscreen prompts to complete the activation process
If we are unable to detect your carrier or activation instructions are not provided, you can complete the process manually by following the steps below:
- Get your Deposit number for your YouMail account
- Submit a ticket to request the deposit number for your account
- Submit a ticket to request the deposit number for your account
- Call your landline provider's Support line
- Ask the representative to activate call forwarding for busy, no answer, and unavailable for your line to your deposit number.
- NOTE: you do not want to enable "regular" call forwarding (aka ALWAYS) as this will send all calls to the number without ringing you first. So, make sure you specify that you "busy, no answer, and unavailable" or CONDITIONAL call forwarding
- Test your landline.
- Before disconnecting with the support team, make sure they give you a test call and ensure that only the missed/unanswered calls are forwarding to your YouMail voicemail
