Removing your personal information from data broker sites
Political texting spam and fake Amazon delivery texts are usually signs that your information is publicly available. YouMail knows you want to protect yourself, so we have made it easier for you to do so. All premium plans now have access to our new feature, Privacy Scan, which allows you to identify and erase any online exposures of your personal information. Follow the easy steps below to start the process of removing your data from the internet and enjoy the freedom of a clean online slate!
Notes: How it Works
- You must have a paid plan.
-
We contact the broker sites with the data and request they remove it.
-
Within 3-20 days - Removal starts and shows up within the dashboard menu (Privacy Scan). Some removals might require an extra step.
-
Within 45 days - Your data exposures are removed.
- After 45 days - We automatically check broker sites for new exposures and remove them.
