Pausing your protection vs. disabling the protection
YouMail now allows you to pause your protection setting rather than disable the setting completely. This new change also automates the reactivation of the setting so you no longer have to do so yourself. If you need to pause the protection to receive an important call you can do so and the app will reactivate once the specified time period has elapsed
Notes:
-
Whilst the call protection is paused, please note that any spam / scam calls placed within that window will not be blocked. Ensure that you set the pause for the necessary amount of time needed.
- If you've received your call before the automated reactivation triggers, you can simply turn the protection toggle on manually to reactivate the protection immediately.
|
Navigate to your Protection page
- Once you've opened the app, select the shield icon located in the center of the icon bar at the bottom of the screen.
|
 |
- From within the protection page, you can toggle the setting off and then select the suitable time-frame.
- You can pause the setting using the following increments:
- 1 hour
- 4 Hours
- 12 Hours
- 24 Hours
- Indefinite
|

|
- If you've selected a particular timeframe there will be a yellow banner that shows when your protection settings will reactivate.
