Unfortunately, Straight Talk states that they no longer offer Conditional Call Forwarding, the feature we utilize to receive your missed calls. Without this feature, you won't be able to activate or use the YouMail service. That being said, some Straight Talk users have still been able to activate. If you're having trouble activating, double check 3 things:
- You're not on wifi calling
- You're not roaming
- You haven't changed sim cards
If you've checked and you don't fit any of the perimeters above, you may be able to try the other carrier's activation codes. Straight Talk uses several carrier's towers, primarily AT&T and Verizon. Try one set of codes and if that doesn't work, try the other. Dial each code independently, so each set of codes would have 3 outbound calls.
If you don't know what your deposit number is, check out this article.
If you still are unable to activate, you'll need to contact Straight Talk but they may not be of much help as they're stating they don't offer call forwarding. We're very sorry if you were interested in trying out YouMail or if you currently have an account and your forwarding was disconnected. Please contact Straight Talk regarding any issues with connecting your calls to their system.
