YouMail utilizes a carrier feature called Conditional Call Forwarding (CCF) to connect your missed calls to our system.
Please note that Straight Talk no longer offers the CCF feature directly, although it is still possible to activate by using one of the four different networks used by their service:
- Sprint
- T-Mobile
- Verizon
Straight Talk will assign you to the best network for your coverage area, just be sure to know what network you are using because that is the network you will select when activating on YouMail.
Note: AT&T no longer allows the Conditional Call Forwarding feature on their network.
An "Unlocked" phone is a device that has been made available to work on any carrier network.
If you currently have an AT&T SIM and you would still like to use YouMail, please try one of the following options:
- Change the carrier on your Straight Talk SIM card to a carrier that is not AT&T. This can be done by contacting Straight Talk to change the carrier network on your SIM card.
- Change the voicemail settings directly on your phone to your YouMail deposit number. This is the number that sends your calls to your YouMail Inbox and can be found in your forwarding instructions. It is the 10-digit number that is included with the code(s).
