Although YouMail has it's own Directory, it does not relate to the 411 general directory.
There are thousands of directory assistance providers today because phone service is being provided by a variety of companies, (cable TV companies, wireless companies, internet "VOIP" companies, as well as landline companies) all of whom provide directory assistance to their own customers, and only their own customers. If you call "411" and ask about a business or person that is not their customer, they won't necessarily have that information.
In order to have your business added to the 411 directory, please follow these steps:
- Call your business's local phone service provider.
- Verify your authorization to make changes to your business phone account.
- Request that the customer service representative add your business phone number to the 411 information directory.
