Is there any reason customers weren't notified of this sooner? I'm curious, because I apparently haven't received any e-mail alerts for the last 9 days due to this. I checked all my preferences etc in my account and even then it wasn't obvious until I searched the help center. I would say this is a major problem if you have customers out there that rely on your service and still aren't aware they have this issue.

We apologize for the trouble. This is a temporary issue that only a few users experienced, so we decided not to share it with our whole user base. However, we did share this link to our users via social media.

Unfortunately, your poor decision on a "temporary issue" cost me several new customers, a tremendous sum of "bad will" was generate" in my community toward myself as my business did not respond to customer requests for NOW almost 10 days. NOT to mention the amount of business dollars lost in a growing business. As a former IT director and manager, it is IMPERATIVE that the entire user community be made aware of a "small" problem NO MATTER HOW FEW are affected. If you were honest enough to make the mistake, be honest with the user community to alert them that they MAY have a problem. That way, atleast they can check to see if there is an issue... It really is lousy to get dressed down by a potential customer because it is perceived that I don't care about their problems (because, I did not return their calls. NOW I have to call all of those potential customers and tell them that their call never got to me. I AM currently a free subscriber, using your service to see if I want to subscribe and even recommend your service. However, after this problem, it is probable that I may need to look elsewhere for a more permanent solution.

@Mark Again, we apologize for any trouble you had. Do you have the YouMail app on your phone? You can also receive notifications that way. We did share the issue with our users through social media and posted it in our help center. I hope you were able to get connected back.
