This process turns off the Assistant's call screening, allowing calls to go directly to your voicemail or ring, depending on your other settings. This is necessary for your calls to be routed to YouMail.
To disable the "Take a Message" feature on your Google Pixel, open the Phone app, tap the More menu (three dots), go to Settings, then select Take a Message, and toggle the feature off; this stops the Assistant from handling calls by taking messages before voicemail.
Open the Phone dialer> Tap the More menu (three dots), usually located in the top left corner.
Select Settings from the menu. Then search for" Take a Message" in the list of options
Toggle the switch to disable the feature.
