Overview
Updating your phone number in your YouMail account is required when you get a new phone, switch carriers, or change your number. This process ensures your voicemails continue to reach your YouMail inbox without interruption and allows you to re-activate call forwarding correctly for your new setup.
Important:
Paid subscribers (Professional, Plus, and the Essentials plan) can add multiple phone lines. Free subscribers can only replace their existing phone number.
Note:
Changing your phone, carrier, or phone number resets call forwarding. You must re-activate YouMail after updating your number. Phone number changes are completed on the YouMail website, even when started from the mobile app.
