Overview
Push alert notifications ensure you receive real-time alerts for new voicemails, missed calls, and important activity in YouMail. For notifications to work correctly, push alerts must be enabled in three places:
Your YouMail account (online settings)
The YouMail app on your device
Your phone’s system notification settings
This guide walks you through enabling push alerts on YouMail.com, iPhone, and Android to ensure reliable notification delivery.
Key benefits/use cases
Instant notifications: Get alerts as soon as new messages arrive
Reliable delivery: Receive notifications over Wi-Fi or cellular data
Custom control: Adjust alert frequency, sounds, and display style
Fewer missed messages: Stay informed even when the app is closed
Enable push alerts on your YouMail account (required)
Push alerts must be enabled on your YouMail account before notifications can be delivered to any device.
Sign in to your account at YouMail.com
Select Settings from the left-hand menu
