How to remove an Extra Line on the web
To remove an Extra Line from your YouMail account using the website, follow these steps:
Sign in to YouMail.com.
Click Phone Lines from the left-hand menu.
Locate the Extra Line you want to remove.
Click Remove beneath the number.
Confirm deletion.
Important: Removing an Extra Line permanently deletes the virtual number from your account.
How to add an Extra Line on the web
To add an Extra Line from the website, follow these steps:
Sign in to YouMail.com.
Click Phone Lines.
Select + Add Line in the top-right corner.
Choose Extra Line.
Select your preferred State and Area Code.
(Optional) Search for specific number patterns.
Select an available number.
Click Add Extra Line.
How to remove an Extra Line on Android
To remove an Extra Line using the YouMail Android app, follow these steps:
Open the YouMail app.
Tap the Menu icon (☰).
Tap Settings.
Select Phone Lines.
Tap the Extra Line you want to remove.
Select Remove.
Confirm deletion.
Note: Removing a line from the app syncs with your online account.

Tap Settings in the upper left-hand corner (gear icon).
Select Main Line.
Tap Advanced.
Locate the extra line to be removed
Tap Remove.

How to add an Extra Line on iPhone
To add an Extra Line using the iPhone app, follow these steps:
Open the YouMail app.
Tap Settings in the upper left-hand corner (gear icon).
Tap + Add New
Enter area code
Choose Extra Line.
Tap Select Number
Important: Extra Lines are assigned based on availability and cannot be reserved unless added.
Tip: If your preferred area code is unavailable, try nearby cities or alternate number patterns.
Pro tip: After adding an Extra Line, review your Forwarding and Connection settings to ensure calls ring properly on your device.
