When a YouMail subscription is purchased through a mobile app, all billing, cancellations, and refunds are managed by Apple or Google—not YouMail. This article explains how mobile subscriptions work and how to manage them on each platform.

How to purchase a YouMail plan via mobile In-App Purchase
Purchasing a YouMail subscription via mobile In-App Purchase allows you to upgrade directly within the app using your Apple ID or Google account.
To purchase a plan, follow these steps:
Apple
Open the YouMail App
Select the gear icon in the top-left corner
Select the Upgrade button at the bottom of Your Plan
Select how you wish to be billed: Monthly or Annually
Select Subscribe to complete the purchase using your device’s app store
Open the YouMail app
Select the three bars in the top right
Select the orange Upgrade button at the bottom under your plan name
Select how you wish to be billed: Monthly or Annually
Select Subscribe and complete the purchase using your device’s app store
Note: Plans purchased in the app are billed and managed by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.
Important: Annual billings are recurring.
Apple App Store In-App Purchases (iOS)
Apple App Store subscriptions are fully managed through Apple’s subscription system.
How to cancel a YouMail subscription on iOS
Cancelling an Apple App Store subscription stops future billing but keeps your plan active until the end of the current billing period.
To cancel your subscription, follow these steps:
Open iOS Settings
Select your Apple ID at the top of the screen
Select Subscriptions
Select your YouMail subscription
Select Cancel Subscription and confirm
Important: Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store must be cancelled through iOS settings. Cancelling through the YouMail website is not supported.
Note: Cancelling an In-App Purchase disables automatic renewal but does not immediately end service.

Refunds for Apple App Store In-App Purchases are handled directly by Apple.

Note: Refund approval and timing are determined by Apple.
Google Play In-App Purchases (Android)
Google Play subscriptions are fully managed through Google’s billing system. YouMail does not have access to Google Play billing details.
How to cancel a YouMail subscription on Google Play
Cancelling a Google Play subscription stops future billing but keeps your plan active until the end of the current billing period.
To cancel on an Android device:
Open the Google Play Store app
Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner
Select Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions
Select your YouMail subscription
Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions
To cancel on a computer:
Go to play.google.com/store/account and sign in to the Google account used for purchase
Navigate to Order history
Select your YouMail subscription
Click Cancel subscription and confirm
Important: Subscriptions purchased through Google Play must be cancelled directly through Google.
Note: Allow up to 24 hours for the cancellation status to update.
How to request a refund from Google Play
Refunds for Google Play In-App Purchases are handled directly by Google.
To request a refund:
Go to play.google.com/store/account and sign in
Locate your YouMail subscription under Order history
Select Request a refund or Report a problem
Complete and submit the form
Note: Refund eligibility and processing times are determined by Google’s refund policy. Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days.

What happens after I cancel my mobile subscription?
After cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Once it expires, your account transitions to the YouMail Free Plan and no further charges occur.
Why can’t I cancel my subscription on the YouMail website?
Subscriptions purchased via the Apple App Store or Google Play must be managed through the original purchase platform.
