Importing YouMail contacts to your device lets you keep your YouMail callers available in your phone’s native Contacts app. This makes it easier to call, text, and manage your contacts without switching between apps.

This guide walks you through enabling a hidden setting in the YouMail Android and iPhone app and importing your contacts step by step.


How to import YouMail contacts (Android)

To import YouMail contacts to your Android device, follow these steps:

  1. Open the YouMail app on your Android device

  2. Tap the Menu (☰) icon, then select Settings

  3. Tap About

  4. Tap Device Memory five times to enable the hidden menu

  5. Tap Import YouMail Contacts

Once you select Import YouMail Contacts, your YouMail contacts will be downloaded and added to your phone’s native Contacts app.


How to import YouMail contacts (iPhone)

To import YouMail contacts to your iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. Open the YouMail app on your iPhone

  2. Tap Settings

  3. Tap About

  4. Tap OS Version twice

  5. Tap YouMail Version twice to enable the hidden menu

  6. Tap Import YouMail Contacts

Once you select Import YouMail Contacts, your YouMail contacts will be downloaded and added to your iPhone’s Contacts app.


Important:
Make sure contact permissions are enabled for the YouMail app in your device settings, or the import will not work properly.

Note:
Imported contacts are saved to your phone’s native Contacts app and can be managed like any other contact.

Tip:
If your contacts don’t appear immediately, open your Contacts app and refresh or restart your device.

Pro tip:
After importing, merge duplicate contacts in your Contacts app to keep your contact list clean and organized.
