How to block a contact on Android
Blocking a contact on Android stops calls from that number and applies your YouMail blocking rules.
To block a contact on Android, follow these steps:
Open the YouMail app
Tap Contacts at the bottom of the screen
Select the contact you want to block
Tap the More options (⋮) icon in the top-right corner
Select Block
Choose whether the caller is a Spammer (optional)
Confirm to block the contact

How to block a contact on iPhone
Blocking a contact on iPhone prevents the caller from reaching your phone and routes them according to your YouMail blocking settings.
To block a contact on iPhone, follow these steps:
Open the YouMail app
Tap Contacts at the bottom of the screen
Select the contact you want to block
Select Block Caller
Choose whether the caller is a Spammer (optional)
Confirm to block the contact
Note: Menu labels may vary slightly depending on your iOS version and YouMail app version.
Important:
Blocking a contact in YouMail does not block the number at the carrier level. Calls are handled according to your YouMail call-handling and voicemail settings.
Tip:
If a blocked caller continues contacting you from multiple numbers, consider enabling additional spam-blocking features in your account settings.
Pro tip:
Review your Blocked contacts list periodically to ensure important callers are not blocked by mistake.
