Overview
YouMail allows you to delete saved voicemail greetings at any time using either the website or mobile app. Removing unused or outdated greetings helps keep your account organized and ensures callers hear the correct message.
There are two ways to delete saved greetings: through the YouMail website or through the mobile app.

Delete a Greeting on the Web
Follow these steps to delete greetings using the YouMail website.
Go to YouMail.com and sign in
Click Greetings in the left-hand menu
Select Your Greetings
Check the box next to the greeting you want to delete
Click Actions → Delete

Select the three dots in the top-right corner

Delete a Greeting on iPhone
Follow these steps to delete greetings using the iPhone app.
Open the YouMail app
Scroll and tap on safe voicemail
Tap set voicemail greeting
Locate the greeting and swipe left to delete

Delete a Greeting on Android
Follow these steps to delete greetings using the Android app.
Open the YouMail app
Tap the Menu icon (three lines) in the top-left corner
Tap Greetings
Select the pencil on the top right
Select Delete

FAQs
Can I recover a deleted greeting?
If you delete a greeting downloaded from the YouMail Community, you can download it again. Custom recordings cannot be recovered once deleted.
What happens to callers after I delete a greeting?
Any callers assigned to the deleted greeting will automatically hear your default greeting.
Can I delete multiple greetings at once?
Yes. On the web, you can select multiple greetings using the checkboxes and delete them together using Actions → Delete.
Why don’t I see the Delete option in my app?
If you do not see the Delete option, make sure your app is updated to the latest version and that you are logged into the correct account.
Can I delete greetings from all devices?
Yes. Once deleted, greetings are removed from your account and will no longer appear on any device.
