If you do not own the phone number or do not want to claim it, you can still request an update by submitting a report.
How to submit a directory report
To submit a report for a phone number, follow these steps:
Enter the phone number you want to update.
Scroll down to Add a Report.
Update the information as needed.
Uncheck Mark as Spam (when appropriate).
Select Submit.
Important: When reports contain conflicting information, YouMail uses the data that appears most frequently across all reports. To change a listing’s status, the number of positive reports must significantly outweigh spam reports.
Note: Submitting a report does not guarantee immediate changes. Updates depend on report volume and consistency across sources.
Tip: Encourage others who recognize the number as legitimate to submit accurate reports to help correct the listing faster.
