How to download voicemail files (free subscribers)

To download a voicemail file as a free subscriber, follow these steps.

  1. Sign in to your YouMail account at YouMail.com.

  2. Click Voicemail and select Inbox.

    • If the voicemail is stored in a custom folder, select that folder instead.

  3. Click the voicemail message you want to save.

  4. Click the Download icon located to the right of the playback bar.

  5. Allow the download to complete.

Once finished, the audio file will be saved to your computer’s Downloads folder.

Note:
Free accounts are limited to 50 voicemail messages. Downloading voicemails is a useful way to clear mailbox space.

Important:


Free subscribers cannot bulk download messages or use the Actions menu. Each message must be downloaded individually using the Download icon.


How to download voicemail files (paid subscribers)

To download one or more voicemail files as a paid subscriber, follow these steps.

  1. Sign in to your YouMail account at YouMail.com.

  2. Click Messages and select Inbox.

    • If the message is saved in a custom folder, open that folder instead.

  3. Select the checkbox next to the voicemail message(s) you want to download.

  4. Click the Actions drop-down menu.

  5. Select Download.

  6. Click Download again to confirm.

The download will begin processing, and the voicemail audio files will be saved to your computer’s Downloads folder once complete.

Tip: Bulk downloads are ideal for archiving multiple voicemails at once or preparing records for legal or business purposes.
