This setup allows YouMail to receive missed calls, manage voicemail, and provide advanced spam protection. This guide explains eligibility requirements, important carrier notes, and the exact activation codes needed to complete setup successfully.

How to activate call forwarding with Telus Mobility
Activating call forwarding with Telus Mobility ensures that unanswered calls are forwarded to your YouMail deposit number.
To activate call forwarding with Telus Mobility, follow these steps:
Confirm that Call Forwarding is included in your Telus Mobility plan.
Disable your Telus carrier voicemail to prevent conflicts.
Confirm that your YouMail Deposit Number is a local number to avoid long-distance charges.
If needed, contact [email protected] to request a local deposit number.Open your phone’s dialer and enter the following codes exactly as shown. Be sure to include all asterisk (*) and pound (#) symbols:
Dial *67*[10-digit deposit number]# and tap Call
Dial *62*[10-digit deposit number]# and tap Call
Dial *61*[10-digit deposit number]# and tap Call
Wait for confirmation after each code is entered.
Once completed, missed calls will be forwarded to YouMail.
How to set a call forwarding delay (optional)
You can customize how long your phone rings before forwarding unanswered calls.
To set a call forwarding delay, follow these steps:
Complete all activation steps above.
Dial *004*[10-digit deposit number]*[seconds]# and tap Call.
Choose one of the supported delay options:
10 seconds
20 seconds
30 seconds
Important
Telus Prepaid accounts do not support call forwarding
Some Telus plans may apply additional charges for call forwarding usage
Forwarding calls to a non-local deposit number may result in long-distance charges
Canadian and U.S. long-distance plans may still incur charges if the deposit number is not local
