How to activate call forwarding on Alaska Communications (H1)
To forward calls from your Alaska Communications line, follow these steps:
Call Forward – No Answer
Forward incoming calls when you do not answer after a few rings.
Dial *71 followed by your deposit number.
Example:*711234567890Press Call or Send.
Wait for the confirmation message.
End the call.
Tip: This forwards calls only if you do not answer, keeping your line available for incoming calls.
Call Forward – Busy
Forward calls when your line is busy.
Dial *74 followed by your destination number.
Example:*741234567890Press Call or Send.
Wait for the confirmation message.
End the call.
Tip: Ensure you include the area code when entering your destination number.

Test your forwarding by having someone call your line while it's busy or unanswered. Confirm the call is routed to YouMail.
