If you're having trouble signing into your YouMail account, resetting your password can quickly restore access. This guide walks you through how to reset your YouMail password using the website, iOS app, or Android app, and how to change your password if you're already signed in.
Before resetting, try signing in on another platform. If your password works on the website but not the app, reinstalling the app may resolve the issue.

Passwords must meet the following requirements:
8–30 characters long
Upper- and lower-case letters
At least one number or special character
Important: If your account is locked, you must wait one hour before trying again or request an unlock.
How to reset your YouMail password online
Resetting your password online allows you to regain access using either your email or phone number.
To reset your password on the website, follow these steps:
Go to the YouMail sign-in page and select Forgot Password, or use the password reset link.
Enter the email address or phone number associated with your account.
Select Submit.
Check your email or text messages for the reset link and follow the instructions to create a new password.
Note: The reset link is only sent if the entered information matches the account on file.
How to reset your YouMail password on iPhone (iOS app)
You can reset your password directly from the iOS app sign-in screen.
To reset your password on iPhone, follow these steps:
Open the YouMail app.
Tap Sign In.
Enter the email address or phone number associated with the account.
Tap Forgot Password.
Re-enter your email or phone number and tap Send.
Open the reset link sent to your email or text messages and complete the reset.
Tip: If the reset link doesn’t appear, refresh your inbox or messages app.
How to reset your YouMail password on Android
The Android app allows you to reset your password from the sign-in screen.
To reset your password on Android, follow these steps:
Open the YouMail app.
On the sign-in screen, enter your email or phone number.
Tap Forgot Password?
Confirm your information when prompted.
Open the reset link sent to your email or text messages and follow the instructions.
If you don’t receive the reset email or text
If the reset message doesn’t arrive:
Check your spam or junk folder
Confirm your email address is verified
Ensure your carrier information is correct on your account
Select I didn’t get an email or text to resend the request or contact Support
Note: Unverified email addresses cannot receive password reset links.
How to change your YouMail password when already signed in
If you’re already signed in and want to update your password:
Sign in to your YouMail account.
Click your name in the top-right corner.
Select Security.
Click Configure Password.
Enter your current password, then your new password, and save.
Important:
Changing your password will log you out of all active browsers and apps. You’ll need to sign in again using the new password.
