How to create an automated voice greeting
To create an automated voice greeting, follow these steps:
Go to YouMail.com and sign in to your account.
From the Dashboard, open the Greetings drop-down menu.
Select Greeting Summary.
Scroll down to Voice Greeting.
Click Create Greeting.
Under Voice, use the drop-down menu to select the voice you prefer.
Under Style, leave the default setting unless you want to make changes.
Type your greeting message into the text box.
Select Play to preview how the greeting sounds.
Once satisfied, click Save.
Important: Automated Voice Greetings use pre-recorded voices. Be sure to include commas and periods to make the greeting sound natural and fluent.
Note: If you plan to use this greeting for Auto-Attendant, you must include all menu options directly in the greeting text.
Tip: Make sure Auto-Attendant is turned off to access the Automated Voice Greeting option.
Pro tip: Preview your greeting multiple times and adjust punctuation to improve pacing and clarity before saving.
